What is SES Coaching?

The SES Coaching Program has been specially designed and tailored to support First Nations senior executive service (SES) leaders across the Australian Public Service (APS). The program provides First Nations SES leaders access to culturally safe and strengths-based coaching to support them in navigating and achieving success in their roles.

Program Overview

The Program provides two delivery options, pending your circumstances:

  1.  If you are new to your role, your coach will work with you to build an individualised 90-day development plan based on your specific goals, experience and capabilities as a leader. The plan will support you in navigating the first 3-6 months of your new role.
  2. If you have been acting in your role for a substantial period of time and promoted nominally through the use of the SES100 merit pool, your coach will work with you to tailor coaching sessions based on your goals and desired areas of focus.
