We walk alongside participants, creating culturally safe, respectful, and empowering spaces that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Our programs are grounded in First Nations leadership, cultural integrity, and self-determination.
We humbly announce that through the tireless efforts of the Indigenous Programs team, we have been recognised as a finalist in in the category of Best Indigenous Workforce Development Program.
The Indigenous Development and Employment Program (IDEP) has been running for 6 years. During this time, we have had over 150 Indigenous participants from the public sector and private industry, a retention rate of over 90%, over 35 Indigenous mentors supporting the program, and 70% of participants have been promoted.
We send our sincerest thanks for the recognition this brings to the program, JY Australia and our teams, but most importantly to the participants of IDEP, who continue to achieve their goals in becoming the leaders of tomorrow.

IDEP is a 3-year program, designed to close the gap for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples through social and economic empowerment by supporting First Nations employees in their career journey through leadership development, mentoring & cultural connection.

This training aims to build on your knowledge and understanding of First Nations history in this country, including the impacts and challenges past and present to empower you as leaders to engage, work with and lead in alignment with affirmative measure policies.
